Selection, Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas

(Bangkok, Oct 2025)

Once again, JTEx conducted a 4-day public training class in Bangkok on the Selection, Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas, following the regulations and requirements of ATEX, IECEx, EN, IEC, and NEC (NFPA 70).

This training equipped the learners with fundamental knowledge of hazardous areas, Ex equipment in various types of protection, the updated of IEC 60079-14 standard for selection and installation, the requirement for inspection and maintenance of equipment in hazardous areas, as well as the fundamental knowledge for HazLoc, equipment and their installation and wiring requirements in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).

Thanks to the attendees from PTTPLC, Thai Oil Group, Thai Nippon Steel Engineering and Construction (TNS), and Genius Engineering for your concern about safe working with flammable and combustible materials and for your participation in the class. We hope the learners can apply knowledge from this training to their actual work, and we look forward to providing other relevant services in the near future.
