Seminar/ Examination for Personnel Competence – IECEx CoPC

People are the weakest link in most safety chains. The majority of accidents are caused by a lack of competence, clear responsibilities, and commitment. The IECEx has an internationally recognized and accepted scheme for certification of personnel competence covering most duties relevant to working with equipment in hazardous areas.
JTEx has recently arranged a seminar for personnel competence unit 000 – Basic knowledge and awareness to enter a site that includes a classified hazardous area, and unit 001- Principles of protection in explosive atmospheres knowledge. This fundamental knowledge is required for people who have to enter an area where there is a potentially explosive atmosphere, and they are necessary to be aware of prevention and protection against an explosion when using or operating equipment and machine in such an environment.
IECEx CoPC assessment
Congratulation to the applicants from EEST Energy Services (Thailand) Limited, Versed Automation System Co., Ltd., and Chin Power Ltd, Thailand who have just passed the assessment of a prerequisite unit for personnel competence IECEx CoPC. The certificates have been released by ExCB – TÜV Rheinland, Germany. We are happy with your achievement, and it is great that you/your company are aware of safe working with Ex equipment and explosive atmospheres.
